The Testing Process
What Happens?
Prior to the appointment, we will have communicated via email/phone to discuss your symptoms and which foods you suspect are an issue. We will discuss this further at the beginning of the appointment when you are here face-to-face. If you have no idea which foods are the problem, that is absolutely fine, we can just start from the beginning.
Some preparatory work will be done with you to get your body ready for muscle testing. We will also practise the testing process before we begin with the food samples.
Then, test vials are presented to the body by being laid on the chest. All samples are inside glass vials so no food actually touches the skin or mouth. The muscle test will be performed and we will find out which foods you are intolerant to. To find out more about muscle testing click here.
You will be given feedback at the end of the appointment and advice about what to do next.

What can I have tested?
The most likely culprits.
I have compiled a test kit with the foods in which people are most likely to react to. These are always a good place to start in the testing process.
Fish & Seafood.
Quite often people have had a bad experience with fish or seafood but it has been part of a meal with other fish/seafood so they are never sure exactly what it was that upset them and daren’t try again to find out. With 38 test samples, hopefully we can find out the culprit!
Gluten free alternatives.
If gluten tests as intolerant for you, then we can check all gluten free flour alternatives to see which of those your body will accept.
Milks.
If it is apparent that you are intolerant to cow’s milk, then we can test all the alternatives to check which ones are ok instead.
Herbs and spices.
I have many herbs and spices to test on you, and will send out a list in the booking email, but do feel free to bring along any from home that you would like to test also.
Additives.
This is always an interesting path to explore and can be quite an eye-opener. I have over 50 food additives that we can explore in the testing process.
